He's home and on crutches but doing ok at the moment. He's understandably disappointed about missing the fall run and wishing he was more mobile. He's seen more then enough hospital walls and television for the past few weeks.
Spoke with him yesterday. He'll be on medication and his blood monitored for a while until they come to some conclusion on what the problem is. Sounded good, he can drive and has been down to the water in an observational capacity. In a typical example of his sense of humor and wit through this all he said to me, " That picture of me with the 40 hanging at QLB, I want to display it on my casket case I croak" Sick bastige but gettig better.
