Credit Habs........

...........too good a plug to hang, too valuable to fish (when new)....... here's my solution. The yellow is an often fished original (3.5oz), the others are copies (identically weighted).

I like yellow, Eddy. The plug shown has taken several 25-28lb bass, but years ago I got my best shore bass (45lbs) on a yellow Gibbs needle at Gay Head.

TattooBob, those are Mustad SS (9510xxxs) siwashes. Everybody used to carry them (they are the standard eel rigging hook and used to come on HoochyTrolls as well) but they're getting harder and harder to find. M&D's still carries them. You'll need a vise to shut the eyes in 6/0 and larger sizes.
