To answer your question, yes.
Like they said move around, look for bait.
This time of year you can just drive down any road and park.
Try some chunking or metal baits during day time.
Their were some huge blues all along your area a few weeks back and I was told yesterday that "the fall run is late" soooo you never know.
The water is still active and bass are around.
Hit some bait shops and ask!!

Check the estuaries around the area. They always hold late.

best way to find out is to take a look in the water to see what bait is there. then try to match it

SNS - what people are trying to say is that they can literally be anywhere and everywhere - these fish are speedily moving along and you really just need to go and see...
In your area go to the beaches, River mouths and look for the fish. Try the smaller storm shad lures or metals like Point Judes or Kastmasters

What most people don't realize is that there are a lot of fish still to be caught and nightime, though cold, still outfishes the daylight right now.
Use the info the others posted and think darkness. That's all I can tell you.

Why even try.........

does this thread not remind you of the ones you posted this summer. basically, you need to put in the time to learn the areas you fish. which means go fish them, look, listen, smell. you will learn far more by fishing than you will by posting on a website.

boy do i know that feeling. i check charts, lurk, make notes, plan, buy plane tickets months in advance just to be in the worst weather in weeks and less than 1 week to early for the spring run . but im planning next years trip now. a little bit wiser. a little less money.
Az to Boston, any sponsorships for the long range travelers?
