Thumbs up Sat night

It was a very good night Sat night. I rarely fish on Sat nights but I had a couple of hours to kill and ran down to beach between 9 and 12...

15 fish in 2.5 hours of fishing... 17-28 lbs all on eels. Ran out of eels...had to go home. No giants but the 28 sure felt good, really bull-dogged it in the strong current. I thought it was a 40 from the way it fought. At one point, there was a fish-on nearly every cast for a while. (I was 5 fish for 5 casts). Home by 12:30 and had a good nights sleep to boot...now THAT is rare!

The water temp is still really warm. the temp in Edgartown harbor (reported in the Friday's paper) is 73 degrees. The ocean is probably 7 or so degrees cooler but it is still seems too warm for bass. That said there are fish around.
