abu---7000 help

With all this "big fish in the fall talk" I decided to give my 7000 cleaning (first time cleaning this reel). This may not be the correct terminology. The bearings on the side plate(handle side) where tough get get out so I opened that side of the reel. After I put the reel together I encounter this problem.....when I turn the handle the reel engages( push button pops up) but the handle won't lock(counter clockwise rotation)...nor does the reel feel smooth in the clockwise rotation. What in the ~&*% have I done. I'ld really appreciate any advice or suggestions..Thanks

ChrisL.....U wanta take this one?

The anti- reverse clip(copperclip that looks like a boot) is not split over the pinion gear. Send Saltheart a PM and I know he can much more eloquently explain it too U.

PLEASE PICK UP YOUR TRASH!
