I read a quote from peta in yesterdays Prov. Journal that stated "fishing is a violent sport". LOL. These people need to get a life!  |

Seriously, these people have issues, and I'm not talking about the ones for which they fight. If I fish, why wouldn't I put a barbed hook in a frisbee, and chuck it to my dog as well? Hmmmm...let me think. Maybe because my dog will recognize me, stay loyal to me, and offer a personality. Whereas, fish can't even recognize that the piece of plastic moving through the water was the very same piece of plastic that led to them being hauled out of the water by a sharp metal object just hours before. Also, I'm not about to eat my dog (This ain't Thailand), and I've been know to throw pieces of the fish in the oven with some breadcrumbs, butter, lime and pepper. I don't do that with my dog.
These people are out of hand. Take away my recreational fishing and source of an occasional meal, and I'll gladly take to a new sport that I'll call "Find them stupid PETA people and punch them in the eye"ing.

And, of course, the answer is: Because fish really suck at catching Frisbees.
Too funny.
And by the way PETA, my ancestors didn't fight their way to the top of the food chain for me to eat friggin tofu!!!!!

And I thought I had too much free time on my hands!
Do these PETA folks actually get paid for sitting around and thinking about how they can put a damper on other people's lives instead of going out and gettting lives for themselves???

It is that bad, remember, everyone needs to free their dogs & cats from opression so they can be free! The Coyotes in my neighborhood couldn't have it so good....

And it cracks me up, there is this lady outsdie of South Station and on Federal st over the past 2 weeks. She's impeccibly dressed, in her 50s, every hair in place just so, holding a large poster of a cat proclaiming animal rights. Is she just guilty because of wearing fur for the past 30 years? Or was she dumped by her hubby for a newer model and is expressing her jilt this way?

o.k. i can undertsand about whales and maybe even the hunting farms but fishing, come on these people need help!!! as far as getting a life obviously they don't have one  this really pisses me off i say throw e'm to the sharks, might change their opinions a bit  |

eh...I am not incredibly worried what they think...
first of all (and I know I dont know all the statistics but...) I personally know more hunters/fishers and carnivors than I know peta members... second of all if they started any crap with one of us....we would woop there anemic vegetarians butts!!!!

....sorry....I really try not to be so harsh....however I am getting really sick of people telling me whats right and whats wrong...
my feelings are this......you be and do whatever you feel is right for YOU....and do the same to others.....
you faithfully go to church every sunday???? great I am glad that works for you.....just dont tell me I need to.!!!! you think animals shouldnt be hunted or fish fished for??? great....stick to your morals.......just dont tell me I cant.
Most of the good hard working, kind, generous, and best folk I have meet either hunt, fish or both.
Trivia anyone?????? lets say I am walking to my car and I get attacked.......who do you think is more likely to help me out?????? some sneezy peta freak ( god forbid the violence...) or someone like yourself??????? I know this question is a little off base but just THINK about it for a minute.........
