Thumbs up

If it's anything like my 'MHC it'll be great for Canal jigging and big pencils. 2oz might be light. I throw 4-5 oz quite well.

Not sure about the blank you mention, but shoot me a pm if you want to check out surf rods. I'm assuming you live in Franklin . I have 5 different models all built(120M,1208,1209,Arra 1205 spin, Arra 1205 conventional). You can try them out if you want. The 1205 Arra and 1209 are the canal choices for me. 1209 does the heavy stuff, 1205 does the eels.

The XS 101 MHS is a factory rod built on the GSB 120 1M blank. It's been mentioned here in many threads--it does 2-3 oz plugs and eels as well as any rod ever made.

i have the 2 piece and so far...no problems. i like the rod, but sometimes its a bit stiff for the lighter plugs and hard to load. other then that its a nice heavy plugging rod.

Thanks for the input, I was initially looking at the Arra's, but this rod seems more like what I am looking for.

Lamiglas Booth

The Lamiglas booth will be attended by three Pro Staff members and the northeast Lamiglas factory rep will not be at the booth because he will be working at the World Fishing & Outdoor Expo Show in New York. Looking forward to meeting you at the show.

I have recently picked one up on a tip from a rod builder at a show.Haven't used it yet but I'm sure it's gonna be a good big plug rod.I hear from people say that it's big and heavy. In my hands it's light as a feather. It's going to be my primary big surf outside the bay rod.
