Guides In Kona

I will be going to Hawaii in December and will be staying in Kona. I am looking to book a few charters but am overwhelmed by the number of boats available. Anyone recommend a specific captain? thanks

Freddy Rice on Ihu Nui, I might also try the new guy running the Sundowner. If you're out there and still haven't booked anything, see if you can find a mate name Jerimaiah (SP?) He's a good guy and a good fishermen and I would trust his reccomendations.

if he still there glen hodson on the hustler 32' blackfin and if he is still there jim wagner on the kona lure. 40' egg harbor both are great captains and put me on 15 marlins in 4 years

I agree with Mike--go with Capt. Erik on the Sundownder--really knows his stuff.

Catch 'em up! Also, if you can find a boat doing any night tuna fishing, I highly recommend it
