would you believe 20-30-40lb stripers!!!!!! yahooooo!
got spooled once, an lost some BIG BIG fish. caught an released some 50 total. for the 3days there. surface pluge an poppers. never seen BIG,BIG,stripers tail slap a plug an watch the plug go 3 feet into the air an have the fish come back an eat it. my buddie PAT was using a 1.1/2 oz surface plug an these COWS were just
going nut over it, even my small bobs BANGERS were getting banged,slapted,kicked around, wait till next fall, I have a surprise
for thoes fish. I tied up some BIG,BIG BANGERS today bodies are 3"long an the deertails 6" w/flash, an one hell of a big hook. did some BLUE/WHITE GREEN/WHITE, I even threw a 8"PINK SQUID fly an got spolled on that one.had to have been a 30-40lber, just hit the fly an NEVER stopped. theres $80.00 swimming around. should have some pic when pat gets back from his outher trip week "GOOD LUCK GOOD FISHIN"

I have been up to jigging a little. But the only flies I've used were as teasers in front of my plugs out on the beach.
