Early Season Smorgasbord
Well, with the impending nasty weather for today, I decided to take friday off and take a couple buddies out for a boat ride. We launched ~5am and were soon greeted with rolling bass and blues and working birds.
Here's my buddy Mike (Elmo) with a nice bass and Jeremy with a fly caught bass.

Next up was Mike catching this. And then we encountered more birds but tougher conditions as the day went on.

We ended the day with many bass with plenty of keepers in the 28-37" range, plenty of bluefish (big too) and a huge tog which hit my 7" FinS.

Well Done, and you now have all the ingredients
for an awesome Bermuda Fish Chowder.
dark rum, bitters, garlic, sweet peppers, onions,
tomatoes, fish fumet, bay leaves, fresh cilantro,
scotch bonnets, lime, tomatoes, a little beef stock for color,
clams, mussels, calamari if you so desire, and of course..........
sum big chunks 'o striper, tog, and bloo. YUMMY!
