I Hate That!!!
Don't you hate when you plan on going fishing....and you depend on someone else to set the alarm and you stand there thinking to yourself......."I bet they are going to set the friggin' alarm wrong because the damn alarm has 3 different alarm settings and I know damn well I should do it myself so I get up on time so I can make it to my spot on time".........and sure as Sheboygan you open your eyes and the sun is coming up......and its 2 hours past your optimum tide!!!!! Huh?! Don't you hate that?
Well I can guarantee it won't happen again!

I set my own alarm this morning. The only problem was that I had no idea why my alarm went off at 3:30 so I shut it off and went back to sleep. I jumped out of bed a 1/2 hour later and had to rush for the slack. I missed it of course.

Frankie....I feel your pain! I stayed up Friday night to go fish......but wanted to get a few hours last night! Do it yourself is right! After a few more trips my "inner alarm" will be set! Takes a few weeks to get conditioned!

I set an alarm and I always wake up 20 to 30 minutes before. Then I think to myself--should I get up--what if the alarm doesn't go off--so I end up getting up!!

Ya I set mine for 2:30 PM instead of 2:30 AM and woke up at 5:45 AM to late to meet the mystery crew in Sagamore. Oh well I will not do that again.

dont use an alarm never have . just need to tell myself what time to get up and Im up 15 min before
you should always do it yourself and double check it . I only require an early rise when trout fishing , for stripers I just fish through the night .

I set 3 alarms, usually, when I have to be somewhere important. Plus, I have the furry alarm clocks that are good for whisker tickles at 0430 and onward. Even with all the alarms, I'm still late for most things. Whoops.

The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.
