Hey guys and Girls, i recently got out of the Marines and i am back home now in MA i am a huge freshwater fisherman but i am dying to go to the cape or anywere and fish for stripers. i am in need of a mentor or freind/s to show me whats up and have some fun maybe take a tripe. let me know

Mike you may want to hire a shore guide, they are your best bet.

Check in with a couple of Bait and Tackle shops for options

I would second what Bob said, for a new comer try getting a shore guide - lots of goods ones are available.
Try the ones near Truro/Wellfleet/Ptown area or treck out to Cuttyhunk. Call ahead and naturally you can check them out on line.

If you want a boat guide they are available also - for both just go into a good tackle shop.

Also would recommend you look at a local saltwater fishing club. Lots of good ones around...

hey thanx for all your help and support guys. i live in hudson , ma near worcester. i dont mind driving i know id have to anyway. tony were in RI are you? or how long fo a drive u think that is? yea i have a couple poles an 8ft and 7 ft all set up and some jigs and other lures. so im set up i think haha.
