58lber in the canal

Is the rumor true? Anyone know anything about it?

I am sure that in the last two weeks a 58 pounder or two has swum through the canal. Getting caught is another thing. A 48 was weighed at Red Top on that last set of tides but was caught from a boat at the west end by wire line jigging.

I saw a 47lb fish weighed in at powderhorn in hyannis a few days ago. 51" guy caught it with bait. no other info, nice looking fish though.
