I find Carpenter ants the Terminex calls

What is up with this. My wife asks me to dig up in the dirt in the front of the front steps and replace the dirt with white stone and place the red flagstone that is sitting there as a step now in the middle of the white stone. So I am out there sweating and plugging away at the task and lift up the flagstone. Well it is rather obvious this underneath area is host and home to a large quantity of small ants and carpenter ants. I run like you know what inside to get the one-gallon pump sprayer and the Otho Ant killer concentrate. I run up the cellar stairs to the sink. I open up the sprayer and dont measure, just pour, the otho juice in the sprayer to make things easy. Phone rings. Its a southern charmer asking me why I cancelled the Terminex contract last year. And am I sure I really want to do that. No really. That is exactly what happened. I go outside, spray the area and dig up a Jackson wheel barrow size load of dirt and truck it down into the woods. I continue spraying and then come inside to write this. You cant make this up.

Just after I come inside and sit down dentist office calls and tells me to come in at 5:30 to check on a tooth that probably has to have a root canal. Turing into a sour day off.
