It ain't the fishin'.....
It's the fashion!
Stiffy never ceases to amaze me with his sense of Haute Couture when it comes to fishing apparel. This morning it was a "Jammin" silk parrot adorned short sleeve shirt is tropical hues with black denim knee length Cargo shorts and matching black servus rubber with grey sole trim knee boots just revealing a touch of skin.
I felt so.........fashion decrepid.
Everyonce in a while he does this to me to show off his avante gard sense of style matching flare with function. Last year it was a faded pink cap, turqoise Columbia short sleeve supplex guidewear shirt with Black knee length shorts with red and yellow flame trim at the hem and open white Reebok high tops. Now, how can you compete with an outfit like that while standing at the dock ready to depart in the skiff. No wonder he gets all the looks and stares.
A true slave to fashion.

Did I mention he even brought a change of shirt so that if he got to sweaty he could change into a dry shirt for the pedal back to the truck? Unbeleivable, a red silk tropical print.

What did the fish have to say about his couture? I'll bet he wanted to know who his habadasher is.

Hey, I have pants alot like that... But not the shirt, though I would love one.
Nice to see that one can catch fish without wearing all the biggest brand names in fishing wear. Never thought any of it was necessary, and this confirms it.

The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.

Rumor is there was a boom box playing Jimmy Buffet and a battery operated blender full of pina colada on the bank.

No lie..........cleaned out my closet yesterday and threw out four shirts just like that. It killed me but the wife made me do it. They went to the good-will store so some some lucky person will keep the feeling going.
