That boat is at fault. It was clearly following too closely.

There was a tree in the median of I-495 uf around Marlboro that was impaled by the tongue of a boat trailer. Couple of months later, someone had torched off the trailer and left the tongue. I saw it right after it happened , the boat was indeed wrapped around the tree to the windshield.

Bad Day
Last spring my boss brought his 13' Whaler to work to show us how his restoration went. Having seen this picture a week before I asked him about tie downs-he had a strap gunnell to gunnell. " Not a problem with such a lite weight boat". Two weeks ago coming back from the ramp he had to take evasive measures and the rig slid right off the trailer. He's now spending $1700 for glass repair and has to replace the engine. OOPS.
