No size to this falls fish it seems

OK there are a fish around but most are pretty tiny. Where are the late fall cows? I have seen few this year. Its not because the water is too warm thats for sure. It seems that september is the month to fish nowadays not oct or nov. I recall the late nov days of hiking back to the frozen truck with huge fish on ground that was as hard as a rock (frozen) and the coffee in the cups frozen as well. I miss those days. Almost wants to make me fish more from the boat.

I cleaned up the truck and played a great round of golf this weekend, (did not fish) and pigged out on lobsters ...so it was a pretty good weekend.

I still have my gear in the garage and 2-3 doz at the dock just in case I get the urge to go out. But IMO it ain't worth it for dinks and shorts, I would rather sleep in. Hope something happens but it seems the bigones have split for 02.
