My wife called me late in the day today, she said it was raining harder than she has ever seen it rain in the 20 years we've been in our house.
I'm up on a bit of a hill from my street and have never had a drop of water in my basement, but rain was pouring through my steel bulkhead doors, down the basement stairs, and we had a bit of a mess to clean up !
The damn grass is greener and thicker than ever, it took me 5 hrs to cut it last week !
But my town still has a water ban in affect
