Looking for Block Island tips....

I am headed for Block Island this weekend and am looking for any tips where to fish from shore. Also, do I need to purchase bait before I leave the mainland or will I be able to find it out on BI this late in the season?

Bring your bait!!

The whole island is one big hotspot,just play the wind.There will be fish there this weekend!!

I am a bit new at this - what do you mean by play the wind? Look for an offshore breeze, onshore, sideshore or something else?

This board is great - helps me get through the day reading about all the fishing!
