Fishing Plymouth Long Beach this weekend
I am camping out this Saturday and Sunday night on long beach @ the point . Midnight high tide and full moon . What are the fish hitting ?? What would you use plugs or chunk bait or both ??? We will be fishing from shore and their is a fast current off the beach lots of seaweed . All advise is much appreciated . A couple pics from last years camping .

fished that whole area last night drifting eels from 7PM until 3AM..............skunked! Couldn't believe it. Did not even mark 1 fish all night. No birds either. Water temp was 68. For me, that area has been very. very slow over the past few weeks. Hope it turns soon.

I talked to the kid who checks for permits to get out to Long Beach and he said guys have been fishing (beachside) and using clams and getting some really nice fish!! He said-- that they said they got a 35lber and a 40 lber! supposedly some respectful fishermen that he believes wouldn't lie!! I don't know what to believe, but maybe giving clams a try would produce!! i went out there last nite (5-7:30pm)and threw a pencil popper all along the beach and only got one strike, but no fish. I also got a couple to the surface over in "the hole"
