Surfing the net at work
I check this site quite a bit during work, as I am sure a lot of you do also. I know there is a way for the company to see what sites people go on, but can they see what time also?

It usually becomes an issue if you spend too much time online, or you are visiting questionable websites. Most companies give a little leeway as long as you get your work done on time.

I bring my laptop and use there wireless, this way I do what I want on my computer!

Yep.
So if you're slacking at work and the network logs say you are spending work time Internetting instead of working, they'll know. Many larger shops have the capability to track all that, many small shops do not though in that case they'll look over your shoulder to see you watching pr0n or poker. |
