Who services Quantum reels???

Got a Cabo 60 off the BST on the other board. Advertised as perfect. Sand throughout, including bail, which prevents turning handle when bail is up, even after liberal use of rod and reel cleaner. It was greased, but.... I would like to get this serviced before my trip on 9/20. Any suggestions?

Bucko's is the only authorized service center listed on the Quantum website, that's in Mass.

Thanks Mike. Any names as to who might be best to talk to there?

While Bucko's is a certified Quantum repair shop, you can also deal directly with Quantum. E-mail or telephone them, get a routing #, and send them the reel to service. My past experiences with them have been very positive. In fact, any time I've had a problem with my Cabo, they've simply sent me a new reel.

That's not the issue... More worried about not having parts like c-clips, that can get bent during removal. I hate having to leave something in pieces on the bench until parts arrive. I like to do service in one shot.
