I'm with you Dave, fish hard and work for your fish and they will come. Old man in the sea, something like 88 days without a fish, no stink on him.
don't worry what others rib you about.

If you're talking trolling for the tuna, there may actually be something to it. Some boats raise more fish just because of the nature of the boat itself. The sound it makes going through the water it what initially grabs the fish's attention in the first place, and some boats are simply more appealing.
The two boats I've fished offshore on the most are good examples. The one guy pained over his trolling spread, kept a meticulous log, and worked with a network of charter Captains to help find fish, and every trip he worked very hard for a few bites. Now the other guy just kind of threw whatever he felt like out there despite what the book said. He rarely even looked at a water temperature sat image, would just say, "Lindenkole's always been good to me, lets go there." But damn it if we didn't light them up almost every time. Of course his gear was so haphazard, actually landing the fish was another story. And I fished on these two boats enough times for it not to be sheer coincidence. So maybe there is something to a "stink."

"Your stinkfoot puts a hurt on my nose".
Dave I can't believe you would stink at any type of fishing. Keep at it and don't let Lurch push you around. Power to the small guy.
