Rod Re-Build???

I have a 1205 Arra....great rod but its all tired out! Epoxy is cracking around the guide feet and it needs to be re-wrapped and have new guides put on! Problem is I have already had this rod re-hashed once already and its about 7 years old and has seen alot of fish! Is it worth having this done again or should I just go new? For what it might cost to have done I could probably just as easily have a new stick built??? Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

I'd rewrap that rod again and again Larry. The quality of the blank demands it.

LArry....I have an 8' St Croix Ben doerr that looks like the rods my father used to give me from the junk yard he owned...That bad boy is getting done this winter as you can;t beat a well broken in rod that you know how to handle...Re wrap that old friend.

Re-wrap for sure Larry. That is a quality blank and deserves at least another hundred fish.

If you decide to ignore all that good advice a buy new...I'd be happy to take that Arra off your hands. I won't even charge you a "removal fee"

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.
