Bassballer, Thanks! Would the Tourney consider using Quaker lane bait and tackle as a weigh station. We have a certified scale and are weigh stations for DEM, OTW, and RISAA plus other tourney. Thanks.

Steve - I can't speak for Joe and Chuck who are doing the lion's share of the work on this but it might be too late now as we divided the stuff between the 3 shops - even the online stuff ends up at the three shops. This year is starting small and simple and kind of modeled after the MS Tourney with one or two shops.
Next year, after we get one under the belt we can look at that (again, not wanting to put words in others' mouths ) and expanding it out a bit.
But I will let Joe or Chuck chime in officially

For all you S-B'ers on the mainland - Stevie and I have been playing telephone tag but Quaker Lane is now added to the roster of shops who will be added to the list of official weigh stations for The Habs Fall Classic that runs from October 10th through the 12th (Columbus Day weekend).
Steve will be getting the tickets and registration sheets this morning so anyone who wants to enter can pick up their tickets and register at Quaker Lane as well now. To say the least, we're delighted to have QL on board - anyone who knows the shop knows it's one of the great ones with a helluva good crew.
Thanks you guys
It's 6:00 AM now as I post this - and all I gotta do now is get Stevie outta bed to get him the registration materials - but I've got a feeling when he answers his cell phone he's gonna be on a rock at a UDL over yonder slinging eels

Ooops - forgot to add that we have to get some more of the enameled Habs pins from Jess and get them to Quaker Lane, too - if you register at QL and we haven't gotten them yet, I'll see to it personally that your pin gets to you. As our old friend DZ said:
I entered yesterday. Let me tell you that the Habs Pin's alone are worth the entry fee. A must have for collectors of John's plugs and a great rememberence. The proceeds go to a great cause (in this case Hasbro) which is a must for any tourney that I enter. Even if you don't plan on fishing this event please consider entering - $15 well spent.
Hell, come to think of it, he's not that old, he's younger than I am

Chef, That's what I figured. Make it a little easier and help out the "cause".
