Firewood???

Like every year Im late getting firewood...Does anybody know where I can get a cord or 2 of dry seasoned hardwood on the South Shore?? I found a guy who has kiln dried for 340. a cord...a bit steep...plus I tried some last year and it still wasnt dry...

you have to rotate your wood....Slingah - stack enough for the next fire when you get a good fire burning...
near by and dry it as you go...

don't know how your covering your pile outside but
a plastic tarp over it humidifies the wood and makes it wetter... better to have a plywood roofed water shed.

the guy up the road was charging $300 and i thought that was too high...with heating oil prices dropping to $269.00 per gallon around here...

if you have a truck, you can get a better deal if you load the cord yourself rather than have it delivered.

thanks Raven...I do usually get it in my pick up...8' bed $80...one guy is outta biz...other is too far away now... looks like those deals are all over..I gotta go scouting..
I keep my wood dry...it just me being lazy and not getting it ahead of time...

i'm right there along with ya... i have none thus far...
too many friggan car repairs-> lately
$ 90 bucks to fix a rheostat in the wife's car... yesterday...
$220 to have a EGR valve installed in the van
and now the freakin water pump bearing just decided to crap out ,
so thats next, schedualed for next week...$150 estimate
but hey ! i have a real inspection sticker now
woo hoo...

so theres all my firewood money down the drain PFFFF

Matt. The house next door to me has a sign up advertising $280/cord, cut and split. I can get the phone number tomorrow. I think he's family of my neighbor and he's in Hanson.

I got a guy in Middleboro delivery 20 mile radius $ 225.00 delivered
complety seasoned 2 ft. and its a full cord no bark and more . Pm me Slingah
