Rossignol Skis

Doing some cleaning at the parent's and came across these. No idea where they came from as it has been years since I last hit the slopes. That is what it is called, right? Anyway, found these in amongst a bunch of other stuff. Listing what little I know of them. Looking for a fair offer in cash or trade, or perhaps an idea of what they are worth from someone more knowledgable than myself. Due to size, would prefer to deliver within a reasonable distance. I am located just north of Hartford, CT, but can meet in RI or western MA.

Rossignol 4G Kevlar Skis
Roughly 80" (not sure if that means they are 200cm or 205 cm)
Solomon 957 bindings

Toby, between snowboards and the new shaped skis there is not much of a market for the old traditional straight long skis. I am not sure how much they would be worth to someone, if I could still afford to ski I would think about a trade. They were great skis back in the day. Give the northern new england Craigslist boards a shot.

That was a nice package back in the day. However, in today's market the skis have no value, the bindings are worth about $20.

Whatever you do, do not search for fishing gear on craigslist, it's like having another BST forum to read. It can be very useful, I just got rid of some concert tickets in NYC that I had to cancel on, just watch out as it is not at all regulated ala EBAY.

Those ski's and bindings look like they are in very good shape. I used to have a similar setup. Maybe there is a Glenn Plake old school skier out there somewhere that still ski's the straights. The shaped ski's made these obsolete though.

The bindings are not worth anything. Ski shops won't re-mount or safety check older bindings.
The manufacturers send out lists of their approved bindings each year. The oloder ones get nixed, and the shops won't risk their relationships with the manufacturers, which can be quite competitive.
