Slow Season Projects?

Wondering what everyone is planning for the slow season?

Personally, I'm hoping to get some more rods done ( and sell a couple of the older but still highly capable, nearly new surf sticks )

Need to rearrange / upgrade my fishing room a/k/a ManCave for some better layout & workspace.

Site work (Hey - I need some articles from anyone interested!!!)

Reel upgrading

Plug upgrading

Figure out what I really need -v- want for next year (actually a small list - 2 years in a row of not going nuts buying stuff )

Rather small list that can change for the addition of a BOAT!

So I can Surfcast AND Boat next year

What's in the planning mode for next year?

Mr Macey - you're not going to put up a pic for every plug are ya?

179 - so does this mean you are not buying a bigger Scout?

Awww Jeeez - swivels too?

Actually - a good rule of them is to keep the pics with as much stuff in one pic as possible and to reduce the quality down to 60-70%. That keeps my bandwidth bills down (which is REALLY important as this is not a profit type site - let alone profitable )

Any news on the Job front?

John,
With the birth of my second son, and the economy being the way it is now, I decided to hold off a year or two before jumping into the 23' Scout. The pricetag on that 235 is pretty steep as you probably know.

Hopefully Suzuki will have their new 200 and 225hp 4-strokes in production by then also.

Smokey and i will be starting skin jig production soon. Since we can only make about 2 dozen in a night , it takes us all winter to make enough for everyone.

I'm on a big clean up and get organized binge lately. My cellar needs a lot of attention.

Lats but not least, thrying to figure out the ignition problems with the 24' Formula with the brand new engine that I inherited two years ago...6K later it still doesn't run.
Happy Holidays Guys,

Van,
Just got the measurements from my bro, he says the racks are like 3" front to back and square.
I bought him some cheapo racks to see if they'll fit (I saved the receipt), and I will see him a wek from Tuesday, at which time I will measure his roof rack myself; I'll get back to you by the 25th or 26th with my findings...Thanks again for your patience,
Rick

Whats an offseason? Lets see ice fishing or open water in the ponds. Cutting some trails into the swamps to put up some more stands for NEXT year. Pour some jigs!
