Any Ice on the Cape?

Hey,

I'm planning on being on cape this weekend and next. I was hoping to take the canoe out but it's starting to look like the water may be too hard for that. Does anyone know if there's good ice on the lower cape?

MLK day, weather forecast looks good for producing with each night predicted to be in the teens and 20's each day. Ponds are ready to make ice, water is cold, long as no wind and the cold holds each night and day for next week to ten days we should have 4 inches or so on the smaller ponds and big pond coves.

Keep your fingers crossed.

Why even try.........
