Boat Compass
Well my compass has had a stroke even though it's level it's acting like it's at a 45 degree angle WTF I see some crackage but no fluid leakage It's been protected from SUN and any inpacts ? Did it get hot and implode? Or are my settings off?
any help will be taken with a grain of salt

Smack it around if that don't work take it out and shake it. or just get a new one.
If your handy you can take them appart. I fixed / swapped faces on one I have. I had two compases, Or do you say compi ? Anyways... I drained the mystery fluid into a clean container. opened it up and changed the face. Needles,. etc.. Then closed it back up and filled it up agian. Getting all the air out was tricky but doable I used a syringe to fill it up to the tippy top. I got some extra compas juice/mystery fluid whatever the heck it is inside there? if you need it.

I had one do that once. I just rotated it slowly (end over end) and it fixed it. Don't know why, it just did.

If it's a Ritchie Compass, they're located in Pembroke and will service it for you.

I resemble that remark. Nothing wrong with that.

If you need him there is a compass repair/adjuster gy practically around the corner from me in Exeter RI. But if its a cheap compass you're probably better off just replacing it.

Probably better off replacing it. It cost me more than that just to have seals fixed on my big C.Plath.
