Thumbs up

Ah yes, winter on the Thames
Good to see you guys got a few to bite today.
MrMacey, that is no small task catching half as many as GS, good job. Looks like you picked up that kind of fishing pretty quickly. Get any tagged fish?

Good to meet and fish with you Mike and I'm glad the fish finally decided to feed later in the day. It was a tough bite as the 3 inches of rain they had pushed the fish down river in search of something with more salt I'm afraid, making it a tough morning. Ironically back inside the harbor around noon, we found some fish that had moved back inside and we hit them pretty good for a couple hours. For a guy fishing a glass rod, when the day called for light line, graphite and finesse baits, you did just fine. Scary what you might do with the right gear.

had a good teacher!!

its not about the gear its about the determination of the guy holding the rod and the willingness to learn even in the coldest days of december when we were catching it was like summer! the cold wasnt even a bother, it was a thrill that will keep me going and talking about for a time to come or at least till the next time!!
