At my 1st apartment in downtown newport , back when i used to drink a LOT, i used to pee out my window. The bathroom was downstairs on the oppisite side of the house, and i was always lazy and hungover, sooo. The best was one morning, peeing out the window i hear someone yelling. I peek out the window and its the landlord showing the house to someone interested in buying it. I almost soaked them . SO i lock my door and go back in bed. Land lord comes up with my roomamtes all freaking pounding on the door. I hear him saying " there was a black guy peeing out the window" . Sounds like i was off the hook

Hey, pardon me, Mr freakin' Vanderbilt...
Nebe, maybe you'll be able to move back to Newport some day where indoor plumbing is fairly common - I'm telling ya, being able to poop indoors is a real treat...
Although on any weekend between Memorial and Labor Day a lot of people seem to forget indoor plumbing after being overserved at O'Brien's...

anything human oder - attracts skunks -especially garbage
the best skunk repellent is moth balls
the only problem with them is -they melt - when it rains- so they need to be replenished quite often

I'm with you Nebe. Don't have a deck, but I add a little nitrogen to the nearest tree. Just think of all the water we save by not flushing, plus the electric if you have a well! Got'a think green.
Doesn't seem to keep the skunks away.
Hooray for Spring!

I usually pee next to the flower bed before I go up to the deck if I'm getting home late. I don't want the toilet flushing to wake up the missus.
As for the peepers, we had them out in force on Sunday, then again on Tues.
I'd like to erradicate them if I could. I can't stand having to watch my step when I'm out in the yard playing with my son.
