New Ronz's 4x Strong Tuna Series
My wife found a care package on the front porch today. Ron sent me out the newest of his tuna baits that are just hitting the stores now. Get them while you can because last year during the bite they were hard to come by. The 10" baits are rigged with a Gamakatsu 4x Heavy Duty 10/0 swivel hook. These are tuna candy.

Ron stoped by the shop yesterday with a order of them for the sale.
They looked great,no way a fish is going to straighten that hook out.

How do you guys rig these, I fished one last year but I don't think it was running right as everything else was getting bit except that.

Gordo If trolling with lead head: Run 10-12 feet of 80lb line to it. 2.2 -3.0 mph 70-100 yards back. Simple as that. No need to do anything else.
Jigging it- throw it out let it sink and snap jig it. Crushes 'em similar to the Got Stryper plastic baits.

You got that right, Ron suggest these new baits be fished with standup gear to get a good hook set with the new larger hooks. He wants the spin guys to stick with the 3X hooks for better hook penetration.

i've been using the little ronz tail as a teaser while cod jigging w/ good results. a buddy used the bigger one on top of the bank w/ me a few times last year and it worked as well as anything else.
