Spiderwire Stealth Braid
Just an FYI But Basspro has 300 yd spools of 50 Spiderwire Stealth (other sizes too) on sale for $18.99 and there is a $6 rebate on a spool that will knock it down to $12.99.....pretty good deal for braid.

I heard Spiderwire Stealth breaks way below its stated rating.
Good price though.

I used to use it on some reels and had good luck with it. Never noticed that it was light on strength

30# Stealth is thicker than most 50# braids.
It makes good fly line backing, though.

I've been using it in the canal for 7 or 8 years now without any issues.
