Motorcycles are everywhere
These bumper stickers are on trucks everywhere and they are meant for the bikers safety, but I think we need a counter sticker also.
"%$%$%$%$%$%$%$s are on motorcycles everywhere"
Late yesterday I'm in my truck going south on rt 3 and I'm doing 75 with the rest of the moving traffic.
3 different "rice rockets" come flying by me like I'm standing still and their all in line going in and out of lanes, mostly up the middle between the 2 lanes. all were going atleast 120 mph
Had 1 car tried to make a lane change up ahead of them these bikers would have been done ! dead !

That sir, is called natural selection. Unfortunately, idiots riding motorcycles is one of the few activities left where the government has not completely regulated and protected even the dumbest people from themselves.
I own a bike, but I'm a speed limit type of guy and I avoid the highway when I can. Let them crash and burn.

Fools
Couple years ago I was parked in traffic on the Cross Bronx when a group of these fools comes screaming down between the cars at some ridiculous speed. Didn't see any blood spilled, but I sure thought I would.
Had a psycho on a chopper do the dame thing between my truck and a soccer mom in a minivan on Rte. 9 just above Old Saybrook one afternoon. We were doing 65 or so and this guy came up so fast we had no chance to do anything but cringe and hope for the best. Happened so fast he was out of sight before the adrenaline kicked in.

A coupla years there was a guy completely fubared across from Bananas that kayak place. Bunch of his rice burner buds standing around to witness his last breath, I guess, he was messed up really bad. I wish those guys would just slow down a bit and remember they're not in a movie...

I've seen 3 fatalities.
Worst was a big black BMW 1200 R that passed me between lanes doing who knows how fast.
Suddenly the traffic slowed in front of a tunnel.
Guy hits and caves in a car's bumper/trunk and he flew over the car into the tunnel somewhere.
The front wheel of the bike was pushed all the way back to the rear wheel with everything in between crushed.
Dangerous enough to ride now a days, let alone adrenaline rides.

I worked as an EMT for 4 years. I've seen some of the worst.
Some people get on a bike and think they're invincible. Until that car up ahead doesn't see them and switches lanes right into the bike.

Ronnie anyone that rides like that deserves what they get. See and be seen is my motto and I ride virtually every day. I been on the bike for almost a month now.

Thats good advice Scott. 1) Make sure they see you.
2) Get the big picture.
3)Aim high in your steering
4) Keep your eyes moving
5) Leave youself an out.
Follow these 5 rules and you'll avoid 99.9% of all accidents.
