A Gentle Reminder...............

Now that the season has arrived in Rhody,

and is fast approaching for Mass...................

PLEASE remember to stuff some kitchen sized trash bags
into your surf bags/belts/backpacks/holds whathaveyouse.

while the yearly beach clean-ups are excellent, if we take out
more than we bring in, hopefully, we can make a difference for those that
only bring their GARBAGE and leave it on our majestic shores

sure catching is the bonus and is the why we spend so many hours away
from sleep and our loved ones, but the other blessing that comes with
this surfcasting obsession are the magnificent views and the responsibility
of maintaining God's splendor for our children and our children's children.
and, believe it or not, we CAN make a difference ~~one angler at a time.

besides, JimmySly swears that it amps the Striper Mojo into the stratosphere. but it only works if ya pick-up before ya wet yer line, according to Jim. either way, it's notsomuch about the MOJO as it is about how we can help Mother Nature. thanks to everyone who already does this, you KNOW who you are, and hopefully more ~~MANY MORE~~ surfcasters will pitch in this year.

It always amazes me to see the crud fellow fishers leave on shore. Balls of spent mono and plastic bags that once held bait really make a mess of things and reflect poorly on all of us. One guy out of 100 is all it takes.

thanks Big Larr and bart,

just trying to do my part and if we all chip in,
it WILL IMPROVE what seems to be a steadily
worsening trend.

Good insights Dawggie!!!
If you abuse it you lose it.
Once you lose it its a bitch to get back!!!
Most of the time it is not guys like us that ruin it it is those that find the dialect hard to speak. It is still our responsibility to teach them. If not....we lose it. Important to keep in mind!!!

I pick up a bit on my way out, never tried it before i wet a line. If it ups the chance for a 50, IM IN. Will start it this weekend and see how it goes.

Everything is better on the rocks.
