Not liking all this shark talk. Going to by a bright yellow wetsuit. Was it dead?

Please tell me this is the same great white reported/caught a couple weeks ago.

1 random great white I can handle, the fish traps as a whole are good for a nice sized shark every few years on average.

But 2 in 2 or so weeks is going to bother me...

Three weeks of rain capped off by a 10-ft Great White Shark caught close to shore two weeks before Fourth of July - it's gonna be a great year for tourism.....Oh yeah, the touristos will be flocking to the beaches.

.....add the fact that there are now two dead whales in Little Compton and it could turn out to be a party for Great Whites and friends.

I'll stick to waders for the time being.

Mayor Vaughn: Martin, it's all psychological. You yell barracuda, everybody says, "Huh? What?" You yell shark, we've got a panic on our hands on the Fourth of July.

I checked the 'gansett times and the ProJo, nothing yet.

Anyone with some details should give the folks over at the Lab a call. I'm sure Nancy or Lisa would love to sample it. 401-782-3200

Word on the dock is Blackpoint Trap Co. caught the fish on June 12th. They estimated that it was 10' and ~1,000 lbs. The fish was very slow when they released it and they were doubtful of its survival. Its been reported that the fish washed up by Monahan's pier around 4 days ago.

Nice, there's just one then (that was caught). Seeing this posted made me think there might have been two caught in the past couple of weeks.

Rocco,,, this is a bit ...but using a wetsuit doesn't mean you have to swim anywhere....it can be advantageous in the spots that you wade out to now.... the wetsuit eliminates the chest line limitation. ... you know those spots that have a little depth inbetween rocks, you don't have to try and keep your balance as you move around, you can just lower your rump in the water and waddle your way over without worrying about falling down...

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

I had this boss who was always playing the tough guy.
One day he had to fire this Russian guy who came back later with a samurai sword. He asked me what I thought he should do.
I told him, "Well you're always acting all bad. Here's your chance. Be bad now motha___."

Very nice plug for this reputable site. The shark that was caught off the center wall was that also in a fish trap?

Everything is better on the rocks.
