So I am in the porta jon...
at the ramp this past sunday and I hearthis loud banging noise, and a bang scraping schreeching thing. I come out and a guy who was towing his walk around had just lost his hub and tire 100' from the ramp. So close yet so far. He had driven all the way fromEast Bridgewater with his buddy, and two boys. He is lucky it happened where it happened. He had to flat bed it home I heard.

I saw him too, bet he never forgets to grease his wheel bearings again, wish I could have helped him but the whole hub was smoked and Schlagers showed up a few mins after us, his kids were a little disapointed though

Freebie, I felt bad for him to. The whole hub was junk, the axle looked ok though.

Too bad for him.
But I heard once that boats and trailers need maintenance.
Is that true ???

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.

not at all Van, only cars and wives need maintenance, the boat is supposed to take care of itself, and be ready at a moments notice, that's why they cost so much, I saw the spindle on that one and can't believe how he didn't chew it up, could have been worse though, one of the young guys at my work went to pick up a boat 3 weeks ago, and made it about a half mile before one of the spring snapped and both axels came flying out from under it, everything was in good shape and maintained too, just broke for no apparent reason, really scared the crap out of the kid though, kind of funny to think about it now
