That's My Girl.....
Took her out for about an hour tonight for a little fresh water action.....2nd cast and bang she brings this one in.....she was very excited......as was I.

I the hustle and bustle of our everyday world, it is refreshing to see a youngster with the patience for fishing (and her ol' man) 
I have a handful of neices and nephews that will fish, but only a couple have displayed the patience that true fishing requires.
One neice spent over an hour with me this past winter jigging perch and sunnies up in Winnipesaukee. It even impressed me more that she was able to catch fish without me having to do all the work.
I can't see far enough into the future to tell if they will continue to enjoy fishing as much as I do, but they do enjoy hanging out with "crazy uncle Tim", so I can live with that. |
