Hi Guys, just wanted to intoduce myself. My name is Seth and I fish MV predominently but also make my way to Cuttyhunk and Race Point when the times are right. Anyone out there's home waters Martha's Vineyard?

seth, i fish mv from the surf. you have a great place to fish, luv the vineyard! Nothing better than fishing a pond opening on a dropping tide. keep in touch. pete

Hey Seth, I live in Chilmark year round and do alot of surfcasting, and boat fishing out of menemsha, i go to the high school here. Gunpowder, a member on S-B is my cousin and fishes the island with me in the spring, welcome to s-b!  |

Hi Jess, glad to finally BE posting and not just lurking. MV was great during the spring(pond cuts, squid run, etc.)and it went on through the summer but not alot of huge fish. My kids 3,3 and 4 yrs. caught their first keeper bass which was great. Of course the offer still stands and I hope we can wet a line together sometime. Hope your season was eventful and its great to hear from you.

Greetings Flyben24, I live about 1/2 the year in Aquinnah and 1/2 the year in Boston, so I fish predominently up island but when the bite is going on I've been known to hit Quansoo or Makoniky once in a while. Thanks for the Welcome.

Seth--Welcome! This is a great site, lot's of useful info and helpful people. I lived on the Vineyard for about 7 years and still spend a lot of time there in Menemsha, mostly in August (poor fishing). I also manage to make it there for the derby. Spectacular place.
