42 Days until "Spring"

Passed a sign on 95 in New Haven that made my day.

It said "42 days until spring".

Almost here! Time to get serious :-)

Enjoying Life !

There were 75 stripers today that put a "spring" back in my step. Had to put the SS Lund aka icebreaker to good work for over an hour, but it paid off in spades. If anyone can, I can't seem to read, but one of my guests (Blaine Anderson, now Capt by the way) had an aqua view and he got some great footage. My media player won't let me view it, but I'm pretty sure I can close my eyes and picture it.

Them fish are definitely stacked up. Must have been hundreds all bunched up. You can't tell in the clip how big they rae though. What was the typical size you caught GS?

I think it is great that all this "cheap technology" is making its way to fishing. I know a lot of people prefer to not see what is down there but I think it is cool.
Just another thing to tie into the CC computer!

Macey problem might be if you are burning onto a RW instead of
a r only.

I had the same issue with RW discs.

For those that are having trouble (GS) you might need to download a newer video player...

The visibility was not that bad for 26' in the bottom of the thames. Have you used the camera off shore? How deep can is it effective?

What you do with the video is between you and Blaine, post or email him on the other board. I couldn't open them at first, but if I right click and save them to a file, then open them the same media player plays them...go figure. Ok how much F'ing snow to I have to cover my boat with Sunday going through RI/CT, hate snow.
