Take the boat out Tonight. (covette deal fell through) Golf today and maybe Sunday depending on weather and Canal Sunday night.
Out of pocket most of next week on the road for work (lovely Pittsburgh and DC) so I'm trying to pack as much fun as I can into this weekend.

First half work and then second half packing for monday morning excursion to the promised land for 12 days.
Funny story, I booked the trip for two extra days this year and Mike doesn't even realize until a month before he has to get two more days off, because he generally only does ten days. Mikey asked me, "do you realize we are going for twelve days this year, you know thats almost two weeks?" With a straight face I said, "gee no Mike I didin't realize that I must have goofed."

Women come equipped with this special equipment that you can just plug the kid onto. They really are'nt just there to play with. They worked great for all 5 of my kids.

Went out tonight for an hour or so in the boat, anchored up, and immediately hooked into something big. I fought it for 10 min or so, and after it made several long runs, I get it close to the boat and it turns and "snap" goes my 40# floro leader 1/2 between the hook and swivel. So I'm taking my son out tomorrow and we are going to try to catch that fish!
