"It's Over"...supercharged version

Just to have a little fun this year I'm going to throw a nice AH needlefish into the mix. Here's how to play...
In the coming days I'll be declaring the surf fishing "over" for the year with regard to big stuff. You need to look out for my declaration...probably won't be until after the new moon, which is 10/20.
Once the fishing is declared over, I'll insert my head into the hole and you guys can all throw tomatoes at me... I'll let it go until thanksgiving week. In order to qualify, you need a good pic, weight slip, or other proof that tells me you're not completely full of %$%$%$%$. Biggest fish taken from shore will get the needlefish.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole

Uh oh...Nostro-freakin'-damus is at it again...

I dunno, Mike - this could turn out to be the worst year to make an offer to endanger your plug stash

In fact, there's gonna be a pretty strong crew of ringers on BI in November...

Just sayin...

Wait a minute...Nostradamus is getting off real easy here. If this was the challenge it should be Back Beach would announce the date that it is "over" and everyone that posts a fish over a specific weight would be given a plug. That would be a challenge.

Then again it could be even more interesting of the "it's over" crowd put up a plug and the "it's not over" crowd also put up a plug...as in had to declare it was not over and then prove it.

The mind is a terrible thing to waste.

I go back in my hole now

I thought your only plug was a yellow MAC surfster? Must have found the needle at low tide.

Here's my take from this week...it was a casual night with my cousin who is a complete newbie, but it was cool to catch a few fish so he could see what the addiction is about.

That's why I'm gonna wait another week to kick this off. Its only the bottom of the 7th inning right now.
It does look like we have considerable interest, and I appreciate any ribbing people are willing to throw my way...
