What Is This?
I know its a clamp of some kind.....its made of oak I believe, even to screw part? Was in my Dads basement since before I was born! Anyone able to tell me what this might be used for??

I knew it was a clamp used in furniture building but knowing the background was quite helpful! Man...they are old!

We had some of those back in middle school, we'd use them to glue stock together....I don't think the teacher really knew how to use them because as kids, we would never really get them evenly closed....
It's always nice finding old stuff.

Looks like something Moe would tighten on Curley's head.
I got a bunch, but they are made of metal and smaller, for my trade. Clean it up and hang. There is a good market for antique tools so worth keeping in nice condition.
