something I was thinking about
Is there a pond or lake that someone knows with a b-que set up close by, where someone could set up a casting competion. I think It would be a fun thing to do this winter before things start to freeze. Long cast and accuracy? Have some prizes for the winner? Food and drinks?

Must be a place/lake in Myles Standish

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

I once went to a casting contest that Bob Pond sponsored. Ron Arra blew everyone away. It was a lot of fun

a very good IDEA
but you could expand on it

Yeah exactly. We would need someone with a canoe or tin boat to set some markers or buoys. Clothsline rope with a diving weight.

Grews pond in falmouth has some grills, and a nice sandy beach, plenty of parking, no houses on the pond

If we cant get something going before the SABBIT it would be a great opportunity for it. Questionable footing like the real deal and all.

If we can get enough interest with this it might work. I will look into some different places that may be suitable.
