jigging the abutments

How tight do you set your drag? Do you let em have any drag at all? Do you set it with a scale or just turn the knob until it doesn't turn anymore It is one of the areas in my fishing that I still am not confident in what I do and want to improve. thanks

No, no, no. we’re 30… 30, three zero.

Sock it down as much as you dare, and play the fish aggressively. Fortunately, lots of times if you just keep steady pressure on them, they'll head out towards the middle and not around the abutments.

Depending on your location, you can also walk uptide, away from the abutment, and shallow out the angle between your line and trouble.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.
