Yes, thank all those people and all the others that made this night out a good time had by all. It was good to see familiar faces and met new faces as well. That video presentation was outstanding Fisheye. Most of all, thanks to JohnR for the site who it would not all be possible without him

Had a great time - good to see the familiar faces and putting the names to new ones.
I dunno about you, but I had to change my underwear after watching Fish_Eye's most excellent video presentation.
Thanks again to JohnR for a wonderful evening!
p.s. Wonder how ChrisL fared getting across the street.

Guys,
Wow, I had a lot of fun; somehow I didn't end up eating, so I'm very hungry right now.
Thanks for putting up with my rapping brother, he always seems to commandeer the party.
I'll see everybody soon.
Thanks Again for a Great Time,
Rick

Smokey , David and I had a great time. Good to see everyone in person. Food was excellent and so much of it we could have had another dinner today for everyone. Raffle was great. We all did well. Smokey had 4 winning tickets! David got a rod blank and I won the Bloocrab cartoon.
Mike L put on an excellent show. Fluke footage was awesome.
Thanks to everyone who worked hard to pull this off. What a big event all done with donations of work and food and prizes. I never heard of anywhere else pulling off a night like this all on donations. Great bunch of people.

I didn't even want to discredit it with this picture....

Fisheye's view gave me plenty to re-think when casting this spring! ( I keep hearing this voice saying "You're killing me!" when I replay the shad and silversides video in my head. At least I'm not alone missin' fishin')
Thanks to all that chipped in. Great night. Great food. Was drooling over some of those raffle rods......
JohnR, since I have documented all the uh, experience with dat reel, you want me to make sure it's OK?
Whoever got the S A Kilbourne print, I saw one of his prints offered online at $550.00. This is a repro, but you can find out more about him with a search online. I just forget the name of the book with his collections.
GS, I can't wait to throw the black 9s and the bubblegum!!!!
GB, we'll talk about May.
Best to all,
Ross
PS. What's all dis chit about global warming anyway?

What an AMAZING evening!!!
Thanks to all who gave so much to make this such a tremendous success!
We must make this an annual event!... As this event was a great release for many like myself who cannot wait to pound the surf this spring!
It was great to have met so many wonderful people who I really look forward to getting out on the water with this year!
Saltheart is back this season, and many who were there have such a gleam of expectation in their eyes for what looks to be an incredible year for EVERYONE on this site!
And Fisheye's presentation was breathtaking!...
What more can be said outside of the fact that this was an amazing time spent with a bunch of amazing people!!!
As far as the thread that spoke of respect for fishermen...
One merely needs to attend one of these events to understand the breadth of that statement!!!
Thank you ALL so much!!!

Food was awesome, and the fish-eye show was OUTSTANDING!! I didn't win any wood in the raffle, but that made up for it! It was a great evening with a group of great people. Truly AMAZING what everybody did to help out
PS - I done burned the crust on the apple pies, my wife's repuation is now tarnished
