....and then the colder air settles for next week.

I, like my fellow hardwater enthusiast, are grinning at the prospect of hitting the ice before Christmas.

I have a brother that lives in the lakes region of NH, and I already told him that I will be up his way next weekend for some fishing.
The pond I have in mind isn't too far away, and produced well last December.

heavy WIND and rain...

grass is green still, and no hard frost yet..

all that warm salt water around us... and them screaming easterlies, keeps the white stuff away, for now, on the lower and outer cape.

I came home to 4-5 inches of slushy heavy mess.
Fired up my 20 hp tractor with snowthrower and it is handling it ok, but the lightening just scared me off. Guess I will have dinner break and will try in a little bit when the radar shows the storm gone....

Got out after dinner and the lightening and finished it up.
Here is a clip. Snowblower just ate it up. I have it on my other tractor this year and it really rocks. This slushy heavy stuff was un-shovelable.
It is actually kind of fun. I must say I almost get excited if we are going to get snow.
