Hockey at Fenway

Anyone watching? Pretty cool. Great old school feel.

Coach Peter Laviolette was our team mascot when I played organized hockey in Franklin in the 60's. His dad was my Pee Wee coach and we played pond hockey behind his families convenience store where they built a pond hockey rink for the local kids.

Bobby Clarke looks old. Great rivalry back in the day.

Bobby Orr, the greatest

Ah Bob Costas Espo wore 7 not 77

Funny to see the difference between Orr and Clarke. Notice how Orr made sure to greet each Bruin as the came onto the ice and Clarke just stood there like a statue.

I could give a rats ass about them playing @ Fenway !!!
Watching the news, they keep saying how much revenue it's making.
Who's profiting from this, our POS owner who sits on his greedy ass in Buffalo ???
On the news they are saying tickets are going for $500 EACH
We haven't sniffed the cup since I was 8 years old !

I'd kill myself if I had paid all that $$$ to "see" the game at Fenway; there doesn't look to be many good seats to view the game. What's next, Patriots in the Garden? Celtics at Gillette?

Game lived up to all the hype. Insane action in that third period and OT. Awesome win! Thomas got stupid on the goal he literally "let" in but made up for it bigtime in the clutch down the stretch. Glad I watched it home though as a good portion of those fans had a bad and expensive view.

Great Game! The NHL has this thing dialed in for sure. I would have loved to be there but it wasn't for us commoners I guess at $500 a pop. My couch was nice and comfy though! Really good hockey.

Fun to watch...

ON TV, but I bet some at Fenway were pretty disappointed with what they saw of the game.

Was anyone else hoping to see Chara lay-out Carrot Top?

Hope this helps our Bs gel so they can make a run before all their Olympians depart.

What would they have done if it was 55 degrees and pouring like hell?

Scheduling an outdoor game for, oh, I dunno, Moose Jaw Saskatchewan on January 1 makes sense. But a place like Boston where it can be anywhere from 5 below to 55?

Lots of Hail Mary's I'm sure. They were worrying right up till the last moment no doubt. It is a crap shoot around these parts for sure. Glad it worked out for them. I really enjoyed that.
