There will be a lawsuit brought by the illegal alien, claiming the border guard "stole" his bullet.
The absurdity of the border conflict is apalling.
They have knives, guns and explosives. If they are caught, the go back home and try again ASAP.
We have weapons too, but we can't use them. Instead we have to yell at them to stop. If WE use force of any kind, WE are charged with a civil rights or hate crimes and go to jail.
If WE are shot apprehending an Illegal Alien, WE are at fault for doing the job WE were assigned.
I say give the border guards machine guns, live ammo and snipers for backup and let the illegals know that it is now a shoot first and no questions asked!
Enough is enough!

I'm with JohnnyD - Militarize the damn border ! Screwing around is costing good people their lives. My dad's generation, WWII, had the stones for this stuff, at 54 years old my generation disapoints me.

and we have to hide in the bushes to spy
trying to watch them with night vision binoculars

seems to me ...we have to upgrade to a technology
that they cannot possess

We have the technology, my political baby boomer generation sees this violence, rather then using the military for compassionate reasons and protecting the good people. To stand by and watch someone get beat down and do nothing is fundamentally wrong.
